Craftmakers' Cabin
The
cabin, built in 1937, turns 75 this year, 2012. The cabin was a W.P.A.
project and sits on the corner of M-72 and U.S. 23 in Harrisville, Michigan.
It was designated as an historical building in 2005.
Craftmaker's Cabin is a co-op of about 12 people creating unique
hand-crafted items. We have displayed our work in the cabin for 30 years,
starting in 1982.
Fourth of July - Craft Show - We sponsor a craft show on
the lawn. 60 crafters with American made items around the cabin and a lunch
wagon manned by A.A.
In 2012, the Show wil be held on the 7th & 8th of July as part of the rest
of the events going on in Harrisville that weekend.
Christmas in October - The last weekend in October we have
Christmas Specials and a 10% discount on everything and, we have a Christmas
cookie sale.
Artist on the Lawn - An artist will conduct demonstrations
on the lawn and other work will also be displayed.
