Hollyhock Quilt Shoppe

Hollyhock Quilt Shoppe was established in August 2002, and is located in downtown Harrisville, two blocks east of the traffic light. The circa 1866 building, originally the Alcona House Hotel, is slowly being restored by owners Dick and Denise Hartz. The ground floor houses the quilt shoppe and a spacious, well-lit classroom. Hollyhock carries 1,000 bolts of 100% cotton fabrics, including batiks, Orientals, Civil War, 30's reproduction, and a variety of cottage brights.

You'll find the latest books, patterns and notions, and an excellent selection of kits. We stock fat quarters of everything in the shoppe, and will cut for you if you can't find the one you want. Classes are offered, e-mail us to receive a list of events at Hollyhock. We participate in the "Middle Of The Mitten Shop Hop" each April.
